Crochet/ Knitt?

When you begin you might want to know what it looks like to crochet. It much facinated me hearing storys of my great grandmothers crochet doilies,etc and how its still around today. Here are links I found most helpful when I started and I recommend the book I taught myself to crochet so you could get an idea on how to crochet. I must say going to Hobby lobby & Walmart you get good prices on your yarn , especially Hobby lobby in the clearance aisle. I recommend the aluminum needles.

At about.com they have patterns for crochet/knitting and also a how to crochet.  These are all free.
